A message from District Governor, Amando 

As we begin a new Rotary Year 2021-2022  I am honored to serve as your District 5930 District Governor. Our District Leadership is comprised of a team committed to provide the best in guiding and assisting you to grow your club membership, provide abundant opportunities to learn more about Rotary, support our Rotary Foundation, new service projects, and many more opportunities for you to have a great and successful year.

 

Our compassion and willingness to open our hearts to those in need combined with our commitment to share our time and talent, with those who are less fortunate is what causes Rotarians to do the extraordinary things that we do.

 

We are people serving together in assisting others expecting nothing in return. We live by our Rotary Motto: Service Above Self. This is Rotary.

 

Rotary International President, Shekhar Mehta urged members to become more involved in-service projects, saying that caring for and serving others is the best way to live because it changes not only other people’s lives, but also our own.

 

There are many families in need throughout our communities and the world whose only hope will come from Rotary. Where there is peace, hope is restored.

Peace through serving will be the cornerstone of our mission. When we work together to create peace in the communities, that change will have a lasting effect.

 

You are the leaders of change and Peace through Rotary is our path.
