How to Make Up a Missed Meeting

Make-up meetings for Brownsville Sunrise Rotary Club members are necessary whenever you are unable to attend a Brownsville Sunrise weekly club meeting as a result of demanding business or professional commitments, extensive travel, or confinement due to ill health or disability. A club member must attend or make up at least 50 percent of regular club meetings in each half of the year (though some clubs may have more stringent requirements).
Any missed meetings must be made up within 14 days of a regular meeting.  If traveling, club members are encouraged to visit clubs in the new area to make up a missed meeting.
Check the Official Directory or use the Club Finder to get meeting and contact information. Be sure to call or e-mail before you show up for a meeting.

You have Four Choices For a Make Up Meeting

  1. Attending a meeting at one of the other Rotary Clubs in proximity.  The Clubs, meeting time, and locations need to be reported via email to brownsvillesunrise@gmail.com.

  2. Participate in an interactive activity on a Rotary e-club website. This is an online option.  There is also a  link to the Rotary International site to search for e-club -Search Here

  3. Attending a board  meeting, a district function or a regular meeting of a local Rotaract club, Interact Club, Rotary Community Corps or Rotary Fellowship.

  4. The acknowledgement of the make-up meeting needs to be provided within two weeks of missed club meeting via email at brownsvillesunrise@gmail.com
